Yes, that’s right – FOUND in translation. The cliché “Lost in Translation” may make a good movie title, but nothing could be further from the truth. How could it be when the entire point of the task is to understand a subject not once, but twice. First you need to understand the text in the source language. Second, you need to understand how to express this same meaning in a second language. What happens in between is a foggy bridge that has no language of its own, but yet is fascinating to explore.
